Summer Camps

Junior Counselor-In-Training (CIT)
Students Entering Grades 3-6
The original PSLA summer camp will feature 3 weeks of camp, each with a different theme. Campers will have endless fun playing new games, developing teamworking skills, and using their creativity! This 9am-3pm camp is perfect for all interested in getting out of the house to spend some fun days out making new friends while reconnecting with old ones.
This original PSLA summer camp is everything you expect from a local outdoor camp: a wide variety of activities and meeting new friends while reconnecting with old ones. Counselors and Junior CITs work hard to ensure that every camper feels welcomed and a part of this PSLA family.
We believe the greatest gift of PSLA is the time away from the constant barrage of technology and ability to connect with like-minded peers while enjoying the natural world.
We offer different activities based on the theme of the week, ranging from Around the World to Theatre to Survival: Quest for the Crown. No matter what your child's interest is, we are sure that they will find something that they will enjoy at PSLA.
Get ready for an exciting summer adventure at our outdoor summer camp. From sports and crafts to games and water activities, our camp is the perfect way to spend your summer. With different themes each week, you'll never run out of new things to do. Come make new friends, reconnect with old ones, and get ready for a summer you'll never forget!
Students Entering Grades 8-9
Our Junior Counselor-In-Training (CIT) pre-teen leadership program helps them develop valuable team-building, organization, and communication skills. CITs will receive training in behavior and team management, creativity, and interpersonal skills. Our hands-on learning environment allows CITs to practice responsibility by leading many of PSLA's summer camp activities and managing a small group of campers.
CITs will also get to spend time playing games, socializing, and bonding with each other and campers.
Through this program, our goal is to provide pre-teens a summer camp training program that fosters personal growth, encourages strong relationships, and enables CITs to practice leadership while having fun!

Note: The Junior CIT program is application-based and is limited to 4 Junior CITs per week. It is also a requirement to be a Junior CIT if kids are interested in coming back to PSLA as a counselor.
